Horst Schneider founded Schneider Fahrzeug- und Containertechnik GmbH on 6.12.1983. In 1995, he set up a factory in Ostrow Mazowiecki, Poland. In the same year, he acquired the AluTeam Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH. In 1996, AluTeam founded a factory in Biala Podlaska, Poland. AluTeam Fahrzeugtechnik Wolfhagen GmbH joined the Schneider-AluTeam Group in 2012. The companies are managed by their owners Horst and Thomas Schneider, and develop and sell construction kits and components for the trailer and body industry. AluTeam and Schneider have acquired their leading positions in these markets through continuous development of products and production processes.
