A reinforced version (2) made of approx. 6 mm thick plywood is also available. The honeycomb core is ca. 10 mm high. There is a 1.5mm GRP layer on the underside. The floor is more resilient than the GRP honeycomb floor and lighter than the classic plywood panel, but still meets customer expectations for a screen-printed surface.
A completely different option is (3) the reinforced 25 mm GRP honeycomb floor. On top is a anti-slip GRP layer. This is followed by the plywood for pressure distribution, then the 15 mm honeycomb core. The GRP layer (1.5 mm) forms the last layer at the bottom. This reduces the weight of classic box bodies (BR 14x-x) for vehicles ≤ 12 tonnes GVW.
